Dear Community of Saint Joseph’s;

 

Thank you to all who have given so generously to this year’s Bishop’s Annual Ministry Appeal.  As you know Saint Joseph’s BAMA project is to update our church sound system and hearing impaired devices.  Sound moves in a complicated way through a space as round and high as the interior of Saint Joseph’s. So our preparation process must be carefully designed and executed. The first step is to have a thorough acoustical examination of the church building so that the best determination can be made regarding the type of speakers and maximum placement etc.

 

Consequently, Mr. Tom O’Brien, our Director of Music Ministry will oversee the sound system improvement.  Tom has invited a number of parishioners to become members of a committee to assist in guiding and directing this effort.  As the project moves forward Tom will be putting updates into the parish bulletin so that you can be apprised of the development of the project.
